"Prelude No. 2", Gershwin/Laven Intermediate 4 minutes
$20.00
score & parts

Written in New York in 1926, Gershwin's three Preludes perfectly capture the spirit of the jazz age. All originally written for the piano, the second Prelude is a mellow, blues-inflected lullaby, making it a particularly good fit for the blended sonorities of the string orchestra.
